about us

Kingston Digital Agency is a Melbourne-based, Pinterest specific, marketing agency. Founded in 2017 by Rebecca Lloyd-Jones after she saw a large gap in the market for a professional Pinterest-specific marketing, content and advertising agency.

With an extensive background in commercial photography, marketing, content & events Rebecca realised that the majority of marketing agencies in Australia were ignoring Pinterest altogether, and the few that were using it were inexperienced, and their knowledge was limited.

Having been invited to use the platform just after Beta mode had been completed, Rebecca has been there from the beginning!

Apart from being a passionate user of Pinterest, she is constantly building on her knowledge of its use as a search engine platform, for strategic marketing and advertising, and how small and large businesses can leverage Pinterest’s tools to grow massive audiences of adoring fans!

got questions about pinterest? not sure how it even works? should your business even bother? what about the content? Can someone else handle the day-to-day management? we'll answer all of your questions + more!

frequently asked questions

Nope! Pinterest has an ever-growing proportion of male ‘pinners’ who are super active on the platform. There are more female ‘pinners’ on the platform, but remember, women make the majority of purchasing decisions within families so regardless of your product, a female audience can definitely convert.

Definitely! Pinterest has a worldwide user audience of about 50% USA users + 50% rest of world. Aussies pin more than 3 million images each day, so we’re very active on that platform! There is huge opportunity for Australian business to break into the USA or worldwide market by using Pinterest.

Pinterest is about sharing and giving in the form of articles, images, links + products you think potential customers will find enjoyable, helpful or fun, so it really doesn’t matter if you’re a retailer, a service provider, celebrity, B2B or even government department! The more engaging your content is, the bigger your audience can grow!

Generally, no. Every business is different and every social + marketing strategy will differ. It’s pretty rare that we’d recommend a business should only use one social or digital platform; generally we’d urge you to add Pinterest to your marketing mix.

It sure does! It’s a great way to ramp up marketing campaigns close to retail holidays, bring attention to new products and grow your brand. In combination with an organic strategy you’re onto a winner!

No marketing strategy will work overnight. Our experience has shown that most businesses using organic strategies begin to see website engagement and ROI happening at about the 3-month period. If you decide on a paid advertising strategy results will usually happen sooner.
